🔥 Kids Glass Marble Class A 2‑Hour Introduction to Flameworking for Young Makers In this exciting hands‑on workshop, kids get to experience the magic of flameworking—shaping molten glass in a flame to create their very own handmade marbles. This beginner‑friendly class is designed with safety, creativity, and exploration at its core. Young artists will learn how glass behaves in the flame, how colors swirl and blend, and how to form a perfect little sphere of their own design. Torch Safety & Studio Basics Kids will learn: How to work safely at a torch station Why we wear safety glasses and how to use them How to light, adjust, and respect the flame (instructor‑guided) How to handle hot glass tools and materials responsibly This sets a calm, confident foundation before the fun begins. 2. Introduction to Glass Rods & Color Kids will explore: What borosilicate glass is and why it’s great for beginners How colored rods are made How glass softens, melts, and moves in the flame How to choose colors that swirl beautifully together They’ll get to pick their own color palette for their marble. 3. Shaping Their First Marble With instructor support, kids will learn: How to heat glass evenly in the flame How to gather molten glass onto a punty How to use gravity and rotation to form a round shape How to add color dots, stripes, or swirls How to flame‑polish the surface for a glossy finish This is the heart of the class—watching their marble come to life. 4.
