Class Description

Step into the luminous world of the Impressionists—then bring it to life in resin and glass! In this immersive 4-week course, you'll explore the magic of layered resin art and glass pieces, using iconic imagery from Monet, Renoir, Degas, and more. Each week, you'll build depth and dimension by embedding translucent glass and textures into multiple layers of resin, creating your modern homage to the Impressionist movement. Choose from one of our examples or bring your own! This class is only accepting four students. Taught by Ron Farnum, who graduated from Iowa State in 1991 and is an accomplished artist and owner of Damen Jackson, a packaging design agency What You’ll Learn: Week 1: Introduction to Resin Art & the Impressionist Palette Week 2: Layering Techniques with Transparent & Opaque Elements-Part 1 Week 3: Layering Part 2 Week 4: Finishing Touches & Final Showcase Piece What’s Included: All resin, acrylic box, tools, and safety gear. High-quality prints of Impressionist artworks Step-by-step guidance from an experienced instructor A completed layered resin masterpiece to take home Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned creative, this class offers a unique blend of art history and hands-on technique in a relaxed, supportive environment. 🎨 Let the light shine through—Impressionist style! You will be required to pay a deposit for all supplies. On the first day of class, you will pay the teacher the remaining balance. Please pay in cash or PayPal.
