Class Description
In this introductory lampworking class, students will learn the fundamentals of working with molten glass using a torch while creating a colorful Evil Eye paddle plant stake directly on a stainless-steel post with instruction from glass artist Kasey Larson. You’ll Learn... - Torch and studio safety - How to melt and shape glass using lampworking techniques - Building glass directly onto a stainless steel plant stake - Creating a round paddle form - Simple color layering for the Evil Eye design - Preparing your piece for kiln annealing Finished pieces will be kiln-annealed and available for pickup after cooling.
