Create a Glass Feather Class

🪶 What You’ll Do Discover the fundamentals of fused glass techniques in a fun and approachable way. Choose from a beautiful palette of colored glass to design your feather. Cut, shape, and arrange your glass pieces with guidance from our resident artist, Lynn Joy. Watch your creation come to life in the kiln, transforming into a stunning glass feather you’ll be proud to display or gift. 🎨 No Experience Needed! This class is designed for absolute beginners. We’ll walk you through every step, provide all the necessary materials, and ensure you leave with a finished piece and a newfound appreciation for glass art. Techniques used in this class: 1. Cutting/Grinding and forming glass 2. How to design a feather that reflects your style 3. Fusing schedules and techniques This workshop includes a 30-minute break for lunch. Feathers are fused and picked up at a later date. About Lynn Joy Lynn Joy brings 30 years of experience as an artist and designer. She has taught art to all ages in the classroom and is also an interior designer, as well as a glass artist. You will have a great time in Lynn's class, as she approaches it with knowledge, humor, and laughter! Bring your friends, family, or come to meet new artists! Ages 15 and up are welcome to attend this class!!
