Local Glass Studio is thrilled to collaborate with the Glen Ellyn Public Library to present the Hokusai Glass Art Exhibit—a vibrant celebration of creativity, community, and craftsmanship.
Inspired by the iconic works of Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai, this exhibit features stunning glass art pieces created by local artists and community members who have learned and practiced techniques at our studio. From swirling waves to serene landscapes, each piece reflects the spirit of Hokusai through the luminous medium of glass.
What to Expect:

Contributions of glass art made at LGS from artists of all ages and skill levels

A unique fusion of traditional Japanese art and modern glass techniques

How it works...

Sign up for Hokusai Open Studio
​
Come into the studio, and choose from a stained, mosaic, or fused glass art project.
You can create your own design or use one of ours!
​
The cost will be determined according to the size and or weight of your project.
For stained glass and mosaic projects, you can expect to purchase the necessary supplies and glass directly from the studio.

All projects must be completed by June 27th to qualify.
