Oct 20th: Stained Glass 101: 10am-4pm

Class Description

Join instructor Kate Garza in this one-day intensive stained glass 101 workshop! Learn everything you need to know to get started in the art of copper foil (Tiffany method) stained glass. Students will choose from 4 beginner patterns and create their project from start to finish, guided by Kate. Topics covered include glass cutting, tool basics, grinding, foiling, soldering, finishing with lead came, patina, adding jump rings, and polishing. Safety will be highlighted every step of the way. Students will walk away from this workshop with the skills needed to start creating future stained glass projects! (hint: we have open studio and all the tools and equipment) The workshop will be at least 6 hours, and students are welcome to take breaks. There will be one 30 minute lunch break offered halfway through the lesson. Please bring a lunch or snacks if needed. We do have a refrigerator and microwave on site. Please wear closed-toed shoes. All glass and tools are provided. Sunday, October 20th 10am- 4pm (6 hours)

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations will receive a full refund of the booking fee if canceled within 14 days of the (first) class. No refunds will be given once a class begins.
