Sept. 7 & 8: Freeze & Fuse Halloween

Class Description

Get into the Halloween spirit with our Freeze & Fuse Halloween glass art workshop at Local Glass Studio. Join us for a Two (2)-day workshop where you'll learn the technique of Freezing and Fusing glass techniques to create spooky and fun glass panel perfect for the season. Unleash your creativity and make your own unique Halloween decorations! Description of Freeze & Fuse Mix & Mold: Combine fine powder glass with water to create a slurry, then pack it into your chosen mold. Freeze: Place the mold in the freezer and let the magic happen as the mixture solidifies. Fuse: Once frozen, transfer your creation to a kiln and watch as the pieces fuse into a seamless, solid glass object. Session 1: September 7th, (4 hours) Session 2: September 8th, (2 hours) -you can make more Freeze & Fuse elements you can use at open studio - or you can purchase another piece of base glass and kiln time (we can offer this as a package!
