Class Description
This class is an educational 100-level class with 18 hours of instruction for beginners or intermediate level students. We will cover the following topics: 1. Glass cutting, all cutting tools, grinder, ring saw operation, and other studio tool assets 2. Glass types and how heat relates to thickness and color. Create three small projects and one small bowl using the different glass types. 3. Create small projects based on the different fusing types 4. Learn how to program the kilns to match the outcome of your projects 5. Glass reactions: learn which glass colors react to each other 6. Create a sushi dish and a trinket dish using reactive glass 7. Working with glass powders. Learn how to use glass powders to create a flower dish. 8. Create a final project of your choice using the techniques learned from the previous classes. This class is a deal. You will make eight different glass projects while learning these wonderful techniques!
