May 3 and 10: Birch Trees in Fused Glass

Class Description

Get ready for the four seasons! In this two-session workshop, you will create a 5" x 7" fusible birch tree scene depicting one of the seasons (spring, summer, fall, or winter). This workshop integrates a fusible glass background, painted trees, frit, and freeze-and-fuse elements. Finished, fused pieces will be ready for pickup within a week of the workshop's conclusion! No experience necessary. If time allows, on the workshop's second session, you can make birch tree designs on small pendants (earrings, necklace pendants, magnets, etc.!). Session 1 (May 4) 2 1/2 hours (12:00-2:30 pm) Session 2 (May 11): 2 hours (12:00-2:00 pm)
