Level 1: Create Fused Glass Plates

Class Description

Discover the fundamentals of creating glass plates using a mold. You will create a 12x12 plate or bowl, or two smaller pieces, and Learn how to cut glass and understand the rules for selecting plates and molds. Choose from transparent or opalescent glass. In our coldworking studio, you will also learn how to coldwork your plate or bowl edges using grinders. This class includes a free open studio session to coldwork your plate or bowl before slumping.
