Fusing 100: Fused Glass Basics/6 week

Class Description

This class is an educational 100-level class. We will cover the following topics: 1. Glass cutting, all cutting tools, grinder, ring saw operation, and other studio tool assets 2. Glass types, including ribbons, rods, and frit - create three small projects using the different glass types. 3. Create small projects based on the different fusing types 4. Learn how to program the kilns to match the outcome of your projects 5. Glass reactions: learn which glass colors react to each other 6. Create three small glass projects using reactive glass 7. Plate construction and slumping - how to create plates using methods learned in this class 8. Create a final project
