Vibrant Powder for Butterflies & Flowers

Class Description

Join us for a 2 session unique glass art experience on June 22 & June 29 11:00-1:00. Using the Freeze and Fuse technique, you'll paint silicone molds with vibrant glass powders to create a stunning glass panel. Begin by designing your scene, choosing from a wide selection of silicone molds. Learn the best ways to paint powdered glass in molds ensuring beautiful results. These design pieces will be frozen and then fired in the kiln. In the second session you will use your beautiful butterflies and flowers and your design, augmenting it with colorful frit and bending stringers. This will be fired in the kiln one more time and ready to be picked up 1 week from the second session. Perfect for beginning glass artists.
