Beginner in Soldering Stained Glass

Class Description

This is short introductory session on soldering stained glass meant for absolute beginners to glass working. In this class, you will be provided a small stained glass project which has been pre-cut and pre-foiled and only require soldering to finish. Students will be instructed in soldering and will learn how to solder stained glass pieces together. Safety: This class involves using a soldering iron that heats to ~400 degrees celsius, and using lead solder. Protective equipment in the form of masks and safety glasses are provided for the class. If you bring any food or drink it must be stored and sealed during the class. Due to the presence of lead in the workshop, it is strongly advised that pregnant women do not attend this class.
