Beginner Flameworking Class Techniques

Class Description

Learn the foundations of flameworking/lampworking on the torch! Enjoy a small class environment with one-on-one attention. The Flameworking safety class is required so all students know how to light the torch, the safety procedures, and the basics of warming glass. You can stay after class and practice! Basic Techniques: Training in fundamental flameworking techniques, such as: Learning the tools. Bead Making: Creating glass beads by winding molten glass around a mandrel. Marvering: Shaping glass using tools while it is hot Pulling Stringers: Creating thin threads of glass for detailed work. All class supplies, including safety glasses and glass rods, are provided.
